Maarten holds a Bachelor degree in Water Management, Aquatic Ecotechnology, from the HZ University of Applied Sciences and graduated cum laude for his Master degree in Aquaculture & Fisheries at the University of Algarve, Portugal.
He contributes to MatureDevelopment field of expertise with overall knowledge and experience in water management practices and his specialization in aquaculture and fish ecology. Connecting these aspects in a framework of the value chain including ‘customer’ value, – appreciation.
His current involvement in the field of regional water management, EU Water Directive and aquatic ecology has strongly enforced his drive for the optimization of already existing processes, more efficient management practices and improvement of sustainability targets.
From this professional perspective, combined with his passion for ecology, developments, aquaculture and fishing, and ambition to contribute for sustainability onto a global scale, MatureDevelopment is providing the perfect environment for Maarten to develop his personal and professional competences.
